How I Got Here

What I have discovered, as running became a central aspect of living, was how the sport can transform a person physically, emotionally, mentally, and socially. 

Over the last 20 years of running, I have experienced running through many perspectives. I have been the newbie and the seasoned runner; the young and older runner; the first time 5K'er and multiple marathon finisher; a coach and a student; a runner motivated by competition and a runner motivated by fun. I have learned so much through the journey that I do not think there is a type of runner that I can't help.


My Experience

 I have completed hundreds of races including marathons, half-marathons, triathlons, and other shorter distances. Some of my proudest moments as a runner include:

Sub 3:15 Marathon

Coaching Philosophy

My philosophy for coaching is simple:

  • design a custom training plan for the athlete's specific needs 
  • guide the athlete to achieve their goals
  • nurture the athlete and the process through personal relationship.
